Ghostwriting
I’ve ghostwritten novels, memoirs, speeches, and industry white papers.
Depending on the specific project, there are a few different ways we might work together on a job:
- I interview you, and you tell me your story. We produce a transcript of each interview, and then I use those transcripts to assemble a book, using your own words as much as possible, but also writing additional content to fill in gaps as necessary; or
- You send me notes, and I use them to put together a book — again, using your own words as much as possible, but also writing additional content to fill in gaps as necessary; or
- We have a series of meetings to talk through the book, and then I use those conversations as a springboard to creatively develop the content.
For ghostwriting services I follow the Writers’ Union of Canada’s fee guidelines.
